This download comes with a VERY thorough Google slide show (19 slides) that leads students through the process, step by step, in order to create a keychain or bookmark using Tinkercad software.
Students are given a challenge to create a keychain or bookmark with their name on it. Students will brainstorm their ideas on the brainstorming sheet included in the download. Then students will access the step by step slide show in order to bring their creation to life using 3D printing!
Students will need access to a 3D printer, Google Drive and Tinkercad to complete this STEM Challenge. Please do not purchase, if you do not have access to these items, because they do not come with the purchase.
I also include my own examples (4 files) so that you can print them and use them as examples in your classroom!
Teachers will also receive the Google Slide Show link in order to share with their students, along with teacher notes (2 pages of teacher notes).
This activity would be great for any grade level above 3rd grade!
